Gia Giudice on Her Dad Joe’s Girlfriend and Whether She Thinks They’ll Marry

The Giudice family have earned their place in reality TV history. Joe Giudice and former wife, Teresa Giudice raised their four daughters on screen together for years before his deportation following a jail sentance in 2019.

He’s been largely off screen since then, but lives on in Real Housewives of New Jersey history by proxy of his ex-wife and daughters Gia Giudice, Gabriella Giudice, Milania Giudice, and Audriana Giudice.

Fans are still interested in Joe’s life in the Bahamas, where he’s lived the past few years. His family visits there often, and they’ve get up close relationships despite him not being able to return to the US. The Giudice girls give occasional updates on their father, and Gia recently spoke about her dad’s girlfriend.

Joe is “comfortable” in the relationship

Gia stepped in for Teresa during the March 6 episdoe of the RHONJ original star’s podcast, Namaste B$tches. The Rutgers University graduate revealed that she was headed to the Bahamas shortly.

I’m packing right now. I’m super excited,” Gia said. “My sister Gabriella is there right now … her and I are gonna spend a couple of days together and then I’m gonna spend a couple of days with my dad and then come home.”

Gia and her sisters all visit Joe regularly, thought she was last there over the holidays. The girls split up their summer between visiting their father and other seasonal activities.

“Summer gets a little hectic,” she added. “But during the [rest] of the year, we see each other so often. We’re seeing him for Easter and Christmas. And then whenever I can randomly get out there, I try to go out there… We roughly get out there four to five times a year.”

Gia explained that her father is now “seeing someone” that she approves of.

“He definitely is seeing someone. She’s really sweet and he’s really happy, too. So that’s good,” she said.

When Teresa’s co-host asked if Gia predicted wedding bells in her father’s future, the aspiring lawyer answered to the negative.

“I don’t think so,” she stated. “Just in general, I feel in his life, if he’s content and he’s happy, that’s all he really wants. If he finds his partner that he wants to spend the rest of the duration of his life with, then I feel like he would just be content with that. I don’t really feel like he is really into doing the whole marriage thing all over again. I think he’s just living life out there, to be honest with you.”

Gia added, “He’s kind of just, like, ‘Been there, done that. I’m happy. I’m content.’ My dad is very easy, so when he’s comfortable, he’s like, ‘What’s there to change?’”

Teresa notably married Luis Ruelas in a lavish ceremony in August 2022.
