Ghosts EPs Preview Season 2's Alberta Murder Mystery, New (Wandering!) Spirit and a Slow-Burn Love

Woodstone Bed & Breakfast is officially open for business when Ghosts returns for Season 2 this Thursday (CBS, 8:30/7:30c), but more than just Sam and Jay’s B&B is opening up.

The breakout hit comedy is expanding its world in its sophomore season, delving into its ghostly mythology and rules, as well as some new spirits, including one who has found a way around being tied to her place of death! “We’re going to meet a ghost can go around the world, but is bound to this car that her death is related to,” co-showrunner Joe Port tells TVLine.

And as Sam and Jay’s business gets off the ground, viewers will also see more of their prickly neighbors, the Farnsbys, and the housewife ghost that haunts their property. “We’re going to learn more about her, Judy, played by Lindsey Broad,” Port shares. As if that’s not enough undead action, “we’re going to learn more about another ghost that lives there and its connection to one of our ghosts.”

But of course, the ghosts that fans have come to know and love are the ones who’ve become Sam and Jay’s family, and Season 2 will give each a chance to shine. From Isaac’s new relationship to Flower’s grizzly death to Alberta’s long-awaited flashback episode, there’s plenty to look forward to, co-showrunners Joe Port and Joe Wiseman preview below.
