Ghost unleash video for new song “Kiss the Go-Goat”: Stream

Ghost are set to embark on a headlining North American tour, and they’re giving fans some brand-new music in advance of the outing. The band has unleashed a video for the new song “Kiss the Go-Goat”. Update: Listen to a second new song called “Mary on a Cross”.

The song and its video appear within the eighth chapter of an ongoing YouTube series chronicling the trials and tribulations of Papa Nihil. The video depicts a mop-topped young Papa Nihil fronting Ghost in 1969 during a performance at the Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles.

We’ll play along with a press release that creates a new history of the band, in which the performance was Ghost’s first-ever gig before the original lineup broke up. The song “Kiss the Go-Goat” was part of the “Seven Inches of Satanic Panic” vinyl release, which contained the track “Mary on a Cross” as its B-side.

The “re-release” of the “Seven Inches of Satanic Panic” vinyl will be available for order on the band’s website. It can be presumed that it is also the 7-inch vinyl included within the band’s recently announced Prequelle Exalted box set. The super-deluxe edition of Ghost’s 2018 album, Prequelle, arrives on September 27th. Pre-orders are ongoing.
