GH Video Preview: Strong Words and Warnings from Ava, Carly, and Sonny

On the next General Hospital, spoilers for Friday, May 3, 2024, certain characters throw out words of wisdom and warnings. While others vent their complaints and concerns and contemplate their options.

Coming up in Port Charles

Uh oh. Is young adult Joss (Eden McCoy) drinking the same water that half of the rest of Port Charles is drinking? Is she questioning her career choices and, subsequently, her major? If she no longer wants to become a doctor, what interests her? And how will Trina (Tabyana Ali) respond? Meanwhile, please say Trina is going to stick with her interest in art!

Elsewhere, Kristina (Kate Mansi) vents to her mom presumably about TJ’s (Tajh Bellow) concerns. She says she doesn’t want to be micromanaged while she’s carrying a baby for her sister and brother-in-law. How will Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn — who’s helping Daytime raise awareness and funds for ALS) advise her?

As for Ava (Maura West), she warns someone they’ve “gone too far.” Is she talking to her ex-bestie Nina (2024 Daytime Emmy Nominee Cynthia Watros)? Or someone else who may be uncomfortable seeing Ava’s comfortability with being Sonny’s one-woman inner circle?

Carly (Laura Wright) already knows something is up with Sonny (Maurice Benard). But now she might be doing something about it. She doesn’t think it’s good for Donna (Scarlett Spears) to be around Sonny. So, will she temporarily refuse to let their daughter stay with Sonny? And what does she think is causing Sonny’s odd behavior? Will she hazard a guess?

Stop the presses. Drew (Cameron Mathison — who’s helping Daytime Stand Up to Cancer) and Nina are together, but they’re not in either of their offices. Unfortunately, Nina looks upset. Did she just have a distressing conversation with someone?

Finally, Sonny warns Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) to stay away from Dex (Evan Hofer). What are the odds Dante will listen to his dad? Usually, the brave detective is someone who likes to learn lessons for himself.
