GH Spoilers Weekly Update: A Wonderful Wedding And A Frightening Finish

Spoilers for the week of May 20 – May 24, 2024 on General Hospital tease many emotions over how things ended at the wedding.

Episode 15466 AIR DATE: MONDAY, MAY 13, 2024

Anna (Finola Hughes) went to the Metro Court to question Carly (Laura Wright) about why she went to Pentonville to see Brennan (Charles Mesure). Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) came up with a plan to get Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) to spend time with her mother when she stopped by his office to rehearse for her first PSA. Drew suggested Nina stay to observe and give feedback, and Willow tried to decline, but eventually allowed her mother to stay. When Nina finally left, Willow called Drew out for planning the moment, and when Drew confessed, it prompted Willow to confess that she helped a wounded Jason (Steve Burton) when he got back to Port Charles. Jordan (Tanisha Harper) stopped by the gallery to inform Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Stella (Vernee Watson) about Laura’s (Genie Francis) attempt at redeeming Heather (Alley Mills) for her crimes. At the Quartermaine Mansion, Gregory (Gregory Harrison) shared a moment with Tracy (Jane Elliot) in the stables before she left for the rehearsal dinner and Michael (Chad Duell) reconnected with Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) since she became the new cook.

Episode 15467 AIR DATE: TUESDAY, MAY 14, 2024

Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) got a call from Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) pharmacist informing him that Sonny’s wife visited him and knew about the low dosage of bipolar medication. Valentin slyly investigated Nina and figured out that the culprit was Ava (Maura West) before later going on a date with Anna. Before the date, Anna spoke with Jason about Carly blowing their plot against Pikeman. Jason later got a visit from Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), who told him that Monica (Leslie Charlson) asked Jason to stand in for her at Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) wedding, and he agreed, unable to say no to Monica. At the gallery, John (Adam Harrington, who recently admitted he didn’t know he was a recast) visited Ava to question her about Sonny and inform her that she was on his radar. Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) spent the evening with Gregory and the two swapped parenting advice. Drew and Jordan met about his plans for Port Charles before he got a visit from the congressman, who suggested Drew run for congress.

Episode 15468 AIR DATE: WEDNESDAY, MAY 15, 2024
It’s Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn’s wedding day and everyone arrived at the church for the big event. Brook Lynn shared a sweet moment with Lois (Reba Sofer) while getting ready, then Tracy gave her a bracelet that once belonged to Lila. On the groom’s side, he got ready at Finn’s (Michael Easton) place with Violet (Jophielle Love), Gregory, and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). Kristina (Kate Mansi) and Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) arrived together to find Sonny with Natalia (Eva LaRue) on his arm. Jason and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) finally reunited at the wedding and sat together in the church. Josslyn met Brook Lynn’s cousin, Gio (Giovanni Mazza, who made his GH debut), who played violin as everyone walked down the aisle. When it was finally time for the ceremony to begin, Gregory began freezing up and couldn’t speak.

Episode 15469 AIR DATE: THURSDAY, MAY 16, 2024

Gregory got his bearings thanks to Tracy and was able to move on with the ceremony and marry Brook Lynn and Chase. Gregory later told Tracy he wished he met her when he was much younger. As everyone arrived to the reception, Jason shared a moment with Elizabeth while Jordan and Portia (Brook Kerr) wondered whose side of the married couple invited them. Spinelli used a cheesy pickup line on Maxie, who finally told him that she loves him. When Chase and Brook Lynn arrived, everyone toasted with Brook Lynn Chasers and Violet sang a song she wrote for the happy couple. Finn was given a glass of champagne by Carmine (George Russo) and accidentally took a sip, jeopardizing his sobriety.

Episode 15470 AIR DATE: FRIDAY, MAY 17, 2024
Back at the Quartermaine Mansion, Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Cody (Josh Kelly) shared a meal and a dance in the stables. At Pentonville, Brennan staged a fight to land himself injured at GH. Brook Lynn and Chase shared their first dance as husband and wife, then Brook Lynn danced with Gregory and Chase danced with Lois and Gloria (Ellen Travolta). Sam (Kelly Monaco) convinced Spinelli to investigate the FBI to try and help Jason. Dex offered his kindness to the Cerullos, which infuriated Sonny. When Sonny got Dex alone, he gave him a beating until Jason showed up and stopped him. Just as Sonny threatened both of their lives, Kristina walked in and witnessed that side of her father.

Week Ahead

Coming up in Port Charles, everyone will face the consequences of Sonny’s attack on Dex, while Alexis goes to trial over her disbarment.
