Getting in the Holiday Spirit? Here’s How You Can Watch a Live Production of ‘Love Actually’

After welcoming more than 10,000 people in 2019, “Love Actually Live” — an immersive holiday musical experience produced by For the Record — is back by popular demand. The show treats audiences to a musical reimagining of the film’s soundtrack accompanied by live singers and a 15-piece orchestra.
“Love Actually Live” takes place at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills. The show runs through December 31.

“During the past holiday season, we all adapted and watched artists perform live concerts online, participated in network television sing-a-longs, and some even went to drive-in movie theaters in an effort to feel surrounded by the festive spirit,” said For The Record Live executive producer Shane Scheel. “As we move forward each day to a world on the mend, I am thrilled to once again plan to bring together our incredibly talented artists and deliver an evening to audiences each night in-person that is sure to strengthen connections, make merry and celebrate love.”
The set list for “Love Actually Live” includes “Trouble with Love,” “Both Sides Now,” “Christmas All Around,” and more songs from the beloved romantic comedy.
You must be at least 13 years old to attend the show, which lasts nearly three hours (with a 15-minute intermission). Onsite parking will be available for matinee and evening shows.
Along with electrifying performances from the cast, the production will feature iconic scenes from “Love Actually” displayed on traveling screens.

“Love Actually Live” is co-produced by Scheel/For the Record and the Wallis Annenberg Center for Performing Arts. The production is adapted and directed by Anderson Davis, with musical supervision and arrangements by Jesse Vargas, vocal design by AnnMarie Milazzo, musical staging by Sumie Maeda, scenic design by Emmy winner Matthew Steinbrenner, lighting design by Michael Berger, sound design by Ben Soldate, costume design by Steve Mazurek, video design by Aaron Rhyne, and casting by Stewart/Whitley.
