Gerron Jordan is named 11 a.m. news anchor at Milwaukee's WISN-TV (Channel 12)
WISN-TV (Channel 12) continued its news-lineup tweaking Monday with the announcement that morning co-anchor Gerron Jordan has been named anchor of the Milwaukee ABC affiliate's 11 a.m. newscast.
Jordan will continue to co-anchor the station's morning newscast. Mallory Anderson, who had been the newscast's morning live desk anchor, was promoted to morning news co-anchor Friday.
Both of those new assignments were a result of Diana Gutiérrez's promotion in November to co-anchor of Channel 12's 10 p.m. newscast. Gutiérrez had been the station's 11 a.m. anchor and morning news co-anchor before her promotion.
Jordan, who preceded Anderson on Channel 12's morning live desk starting in 2021, became morning co-anchor in June 2022, when Adrienne Pedersen left the station. In January, Jordan also was named co-host, with station political director Matt Smith, of "Upfront," Channel 12's Sunday morning public affairs and politics show.
