On The Story With Martha MacCallum Monday night, Geraldo Rivera slapped down claims by conservative commentator Charlie Kirk that President Trump still has a chance at overturning the election. Trump’s legal team has lost dozens of lawsuits in multiple states, and had two cases unanimously rejected by the Supreme Court, which contains three Trump-appointed justices. As Kirk began to go through reasons Trump might still win, arguments already struck down in court, Rivera had heard enough.

“Some of these, by the way, are still being played out,” Kirk said. “There are still plenty of pending legal challenges. There are hundreds, some people say…” “That is so dishonest,” Rivera interrupted. “That is so dishonest.”

As Kirk continued to attempt to make his case, Rivera pointed to the weeks of unsuccessful litigation and the rejections by the Supreme Court as proof Trump has exhausted all avenues to overturn the election.

“For six weeks. We have litigated this for six weeks,” Rivera said. “Twice the Supreme Court of the United States have rejected it. Nine to nothing, including all three Trump associate justices. You have to stop this.”

Rivera went on to blame Trump for the millions of his supporters who are still unwilling to accept the results of the election, and called on Trump to understand that it is over before more damage is done to the country.

CHARLIE KIRK: Some of these, by the way, are still being played out. They're still plenty of pending legal challenges. There are hundreds. Some people say--

GERALDO: That's so dishonest.

CHARLIE KIRK: --Mayor Giuliani-- well, just-- one second--

GERALDO: That is so dishonest

CHARLIE KIRK: --Geraldo, hear me out.

KYLIE MAR: Geraldo Rivera called out Conservative commentator Charlie Kirk on the story with Martha MacCallum Monday night, as Kirk continued to claim that President Trump still has a chance to overturn the election in the courts, despite dozens of losses by the president's legal team. Geraldo pointed to the two cases rejected by the Supreme Court as proof that Trump has exhausted all avenues to overturn the election.

GERALDO: For six weeks--

- Geraldo--

GERALDO: --we have litigated this for six weeks. Twice, the Supreme Court of--

CHARLIE KIRK: We have more questions than ever before, Geraldo.

GERALDO: --the United States have rejected it, 9 to 0, including all three Trump associate justices.

CHARLIE KIRK: That's not correct.

- But, Geraldo, I think the question is--

GERALDO: You have to stop this.

KYLIE MAR: Geraldo blamed the president for his supporters being unwilling to accept that President-elect Joe Biden won the election.

GERALDO: They believe him. They love him. They are following his lead. It is the president who is instilling in these people the false sense that they have been gypped.

KYLIE MAR: And on the day of the electoral college made Biden's victory official, Geraldo called on Trump to finally accept the will of the people for the sake of the country.

GERALDO: It is over. I want the president, my friend, the current president, the 45th president, to understand it is over. The electoral college has voted. The longer we drag this out, the more we damage the fabric of our democracy.
