Police in Georgia are looking for a man who disappeared two weeks ago and was last seen at work, where his van and other belongings have since been found.

Marvin Harkess, 46, was last seen on Feb. 2 at his workplace, AdaptHealth LLC, according to a missing person bulletin shared by The AWARE Foundation.

The Snellville resident’s belongings and his vehicle were still located at work when he was reported missing.

“He left everything behind,” said Beatrice Diaz-Harkess, Marvin’s wife, according to NBC affiliate WXIA-TV.

Beatrice said she last saw her husband before he left for work that same morning. She claimed he had recently battled the flu but went back to work the day he disappeared.

Marvin was last seen wearing his company uniform — a navy blue polo shirt with the company’s logo, a pair of khaki pants, a navy blue cap and some black boots — according to The AWARE Foundation.

Beatrice told WXIA-TV that she did not believe her husband was 100% back to normal after getting sick, but seemed well enough to work.

“We hugged, we kissed like every day, and he said, ‘I’ll see you later,’ and that was it,” she added.

Marvin’s boss saw the man walk out of the office on the phone, but did not see him come back, WXIA-TV reported. When she went to check on him a short time later, he was nowhere to be found.

Norcross police have obtained surveillance video from a nearby business that apparently showed Marvin walking by a fence before sitting down. “That is not like him at all,” Beatrice said, later adding, “He's not OK, this is not his character, this is not who he is.”

Marvin’s work van was still parked in its spot with his lunchbox inside after the Georgia man was reported missing, according to WXIA-TV. His work jacket was found in a dumpster behind a nearby church, and his personal and work phones were found near a wooded area.

The missing man was a member of the Conyers Seventh-day Adventist Church, where he served as a counselor. The Conyers Conquerors Pathfinder Club is among many who have shared his “missing person” poster on social media.
