You can’t believe everything you see on the internet, particularly when it has to do with ex-congressman George Santos who was kicked out of the House of Representatives this week. No, he didn’t work at Goldman Sachs before going into politics. No, his mom didn’t die in 9/11. No, he was not the star of the volleyball team at Baruch College, nor did he even attend Baruch College.

But one rumor is in fact true: Santos is on Cameo. After screenshots of his profile on the video messaging platform began circulating online, Cameo confirmed to “Wired” that the profile was real, and was later linked on Santos’s own X account.

His profile features numerous videos he’s sent out in the past to give an example of the type of video one can expect to receive if they buy a Cameo from him. His bio reads “Former congressional ‘Icon’ 💅,” describing himself as “The Expelled member of Congress from New York City.” While he was charging $75 per video just last week, he’s since upped his price to $200 a pop since being expelled from the House of Representatives for misusing thousands of dollars in campaign donations. Most notably, the official report said that Santos used campaign funds to pay creators on OnlyFans.

It makes sense that Santos has turned to Cameo for an additional revenue stream now that he’s set to go on trial and no longer has campaign funds to launder. While it’s highly unlikely that anyone in your life is a Santos fan, there’s no question that anyone with a sense of humor who’s been following his trials and tribulations this year will get a kick out of receiving a Cameo from the disgraces former Congressman.

And hey, at least he’s making his money legally this way.
