George Michael's Former Santa Barbara Mansion Is On The Market
You would definitely want to be singing "Wake Me Up!" in George Michael's former sprawling Santa Barbara estate, which has hit the market with a $6 million price tag.
The late pop-icon, who passed away in 2016, called this estate home for seven years. According to reports, the "Freedom! 90" icon purchased the home in the late 80's for half the current asking price — $3 million. In early 1996, Michael sold the property to its current owner for around $2 million. During his stay at the home, Michael worked on two of his famous albums, 'Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1', and 'Older', released in 1990 and 1996 respectively.
Located only ten minutes away from downtown Santa Barbara, the listing touts the icon's home as "nestled organically within the Santa Barbara foothills". And by the looks of the amazing amenities, we're going to start collecting our pennies now.
