George Floyd protests go global as world shows support

The widespread protests against police brutality and inequality in the wake of the death of George Floyd have spread worldwide as people in countries around the globe come out to support protesters in the United States. In some countries, protesters are also calling for domestic changes — in France there are demonstrations in response to the killing of black Frenchman Adama Traoré in 2016, and in Australia protesters are calling for the government to reexamine the treatment of Aboriginal peoples
