"We may end up doing another one," the actor said of the beloved heist movie franchise.

Is George Clooney getting the gang back together?

The actor and director let slip in a new interview that there's "a great script" already written for another film in the Ocean's Eleven franchise, and he could see it getting made.

"We have a really good script for another Ocean's now, so we may end up doing another one," Clooney told Uproxx while promoting his new sports movie The Boys in the Boat. "It's actually a great script." He added that "the idea is kind of like Going in Style," referring to the 1979 heist comedy starring George Burns and Art Carney as elderly bank robbers.

Based on the 1960 Rat Pack movie of the same name, Ocean's Eleven hit theaters in 2001, starring Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Bernie Mac, and more as a crew of criminals scheming to rob three Las Vegas casinos. Steven Soderbergh directed the film and two sequels — 2004's Ocean's Twelve and 2007's Ocean's Thirteen — with the same core cast. Gary Ross helmed a fourth movie, 2018's Ocean's 8, which starred Sandra Bullock as the sister of Clooney's Danny Ocean.

Last summer brought word that Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling were set to star in a new Ocean's movie set in Europe during the 1960s, and Clooney seemed to confirm last week that the Barbie stars will be playing his character's parents.

"Yeah! Margot Robbie is my mother? I've always thought that," Clooney said at the Hollywood premiere of Boys in the Boat. "Ryan Gosling is my father. Now when you think about it, it makes sense. Truly."

The Boys in the Boat stars Callum Turner as Depression-era Washington University rower Joe Rantz and will be released Dec. 17. Clooney is also reteaming with Pitt for the Jon Watts-directed thriller Wolfs, which producer Grant Heslov recently described to EW as "everything you hope for in a movie with George and Brad Pitt."
