George Clooney is teasing a potential Ocean’s Eleven sequel that could be in the works as he has a “good script” in his hands.

During a recent interview, the actor who played Danny Ocean in the Steven Soderbergh-directed films hinted there could be more heists coming up.

“We have a really good script for another Ocean’s now, so we may end up doing another one. It’s actually a great script,” Clooney told Uproxx.

When the reporter asked if the film would be titled Ocean’s Fourteen, Clooney added, “Well … I don’t want to call it that… I mean, the idea is kind of like Going In Style.”

The Ocean’s universe is expanding, with a prequel to the 2001 film in the works starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling as Danny Ocean’s parents. Clooney also gave his thoughts on having Robbie and Gosling play his parents in the prequel.

“Yeah! Margot Robbie is my mother? I’ve always thought that,” Clooney told reporters during the premiere of The Boys in the Boat earlier this week. “Ryan Gosling is my father. Now, when you think about it, it makes sense. Truly.”

Josey McNamara recently teased the Ocean’s Eleven prequel, talking about Robbie and Gosling teaming up in the film.

“They’re wonderful together. The more projects even outside of that we can have them do would be amazing,” McNamara told Games Radar.

McNamara said the prequel would “do right by the franchise” but couldn’t “really say much” about the premise of the film, adding, “I’m excited for people to experience it when it’s ready.”

Ocean’s Eleven was a remake of the 1960 film of the same name that starred the Rat Pack. Clooney starred alongside Matt Damon, Andy Garcia, Brad Pitt, Bernie Mac and Julia Roberts in the trilogy. A spinoff film with an all-female cast titled Ocean’s 8 was released in 2018. Sandra Bullock led the spinoff as Debbie Ocean, Danny’s younger sister.
