George Clooney’s ex Elisabetta Canalis is calling it quits with her husband of almost 10 years Brian Perri citing irreconcilable differences.
Elisabetta Canalis Single & Ready To Mingle?
Canalis, 44 married Perri in 2014 after her dating the movie star for two years from 2009 to 2011. While she wasn’t specific about the date of separation, she knows for sure that she is over the relationship.

The former couple likely wants to keep things amicable because they share a daughter together, Skyler Eva Perri, 7. Canalis is asking for joint legal and physical custody of Skylar. So far Canalis is only focused on her daughter.
According to the legal documents obtained by The Blast, she did not make a bid for spousal support yet and seem to want to get custody out of the way first. Spousal support can be requested at a later date. She also did not specify how they will divide up the property they likely share.
"Petitioner is unaware of the exact identification of the separate and community property at this time and will either amend this Petition or prove same at time of trial."
Elisabetta Canalis Met George Clooney In Venice
The Italian model was in high spirits when she left Clooney and met her orthopedic surgeon doon to be her ex-husband. She spoke with Us magazine just after her engagement to the doctor. "I met a 46-year-old man who has never married and does not have children, a rarity," she gushed at the time.
Clooney and Canalis could have been engaged for the amount of time they spent dating. And some felt like she was being a little petty when it was revealed that she would be getting married in the same county AND the same month as Clooney.
By that time, the actor had moved on to Amal Alamuddin, now Clooney. Canalis ensured those concerned that it is pure coincidence. "I chose the date some time ago and September is the most beautiful time — for those who do not know Sardinia — to appreciate it. Otherwise, I would have had to wait a year."
Elisabetta Canalis Ended Things With George Clooney
Just like the situation with her husband, Canalis chose to end things with Clooney back in 2011 and “find her happiness” somewhere else. She had wonderful things to say about the Oceans 11 star.
"I am happy for him, but I am thinking only of my happiness. It is the most important day of my life, I don’t have time to think of anyone else." Plus, it’s not like it was on the exact same day.
The model was spotted in Sardinia with her daughter back in August. The 42-year-old rocked a bikini and gave her 35-year-old body a run for its money.
She soaked up the sun and soaked her brunette locks in the water. Canalis maintained over the years that while her relationship with Clooney was amazing, she is happy without him as well. In 2015, she said to People, "We are both happily married, and I think we both wish the best for each other. I wish the best for him, I’m sure he wishes the best for me."
