George Basil Cast In Will Arnett’s Netflix Comedy Series ‘Flaked’
George Basil has been cast opposite Will Arnett in Netflix comedy series Flaked.
Co-created by Arnett and Mark Chappell (The Increasingly Poor Decisions Of Todd Margaret), Flaked is the serio-comic story of Chip, a celebrated long-time resident of the insular world of Venice, CA who falls for the object of his best friend’s fascination. Soon the tangled web of half-truths and semi-bullshit that underpins his all-important image and sobriety begins to unravel. Arnett plays Chip, a man doing his honest best to stay one step ahead of his own lies. Basil, repped by ICM Partners and Brillstein, will play The Cooler, who has a passion for comedy but remains painfully unaware of what makes him funny. He’s a guileless goofball and gives the impression that he has not accomplished much of anything in his life. It’s more than an impression — it’s true.
Basil also recently landed a recurring role in TBS’ Wrecked and is developing a semi-autobiographical comedy series entitled Rad Dad.
