Gayle King

Gayle King is officially one of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit's 2024 cover models, gracing the well-known publication for the first time.

The Emmy-winning TV journalist stunned in pictures from the fun photoshoot that took place in Mexico, rocking a variety of stylish swimsuits. This included a green and tan one-piece with a funky pattern, a trendy yellow suit with a low-V neckline and circle cutout at the front, and a beautiful blush pink one-piece paired with a patterned coverup as just a few of the looks.

"I would have never thought this was possible. This was nowhere on my bucket list," said King during the photoshoot about being asked to feature on the SI Swimsuit cover this year. "So I’m thinking maybe it was a dream that I didn’t even know I wanted because now that I’m here, I want it bad.”

King and the Oprah Daily Instagram account also shared a behind-the-scenes video from the set in Mexico, showing the staff on set raving and cheering for the TV personality as she posed. While King modeled a bright green suit in the clip, she declared, "This is what 68 looks like people." King turned 69 last December, but the photoshoot likely happened before that in 2023.

"Dreams come true! So deserving and you are ROCKING it at 68 Ms. King!🤩🤩🤩," wrote a fan, while the praise kept coming in the comments, with replies like, "Gayle, You look amazing! You’re glowing from the inside out," "Damn girl, you smokin’! 🔥," and, "She looks amazing!!! ❤️❤️❤️."

"She looks great! So many people are looking even more beautiful as they are blessed with more birthdays. ❤️," said another.

Along with King, the 2024 SI Swimsuit cover models include Kate Upton, Hunter McGrady, and Chrissy Teigen.
