A Jersey Shore rock 'n' roll star is going to reopen the House of Independents in Asbury Park.

Brian Fallon, the Red Bank-born frontman for Gaslight Anthem, will perform Saturday, June 1, at the Cookman Avenue venue, the first show since flooding shut down the spot in September.

Tickets, $42.50, go on sale noon Friday, May 3, via houseofindependents.com. A presale begins at noon Thursday, May 2, via brianfallon.net. Use code BF2024 to access. Update: The June 1 show is sold out. A second show, Sunday June 2, has been added with the same presale code.

“I am SO thrilled to have House of Independents back!!!!” said Fallon Wednesday, May 1, on the Gaslight Anthem social media. “One of my FAVORITE and longest supporting venues in NJ! I love this place! I’ve seen and played so many incredible shows here! This is a true thrill to be able to do! WELCOME BACK BAYBEE!!!!!!!”

The House of Independents, which opened in 2016, has been closed since flooding from Wesley Lake during a Sept. 29 storm caused $500,000 worth of damage, management said.

The Elizabeth-based Concert Crave has purchased the business, but not the building. The team has been working at the House of Independents during the last several months to restore the venue after the flooding.

“We want to make sure we have a good balance of all genres across the board,” said Greg Diamond of Concert Crave previously to the Asbury Park Press.

Fallon also plays in Asbury Park with Gaslight Anthem on Friday, Aug. 16, at the Stone Pony Summer Stage, as well as Sunday, Sept. 15, at the Sea Hear Now festival on the city's North Beach — the same day as Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.

The Gaslight Anthem returned to “full-time status” in spring 2023 after an eight-year hiatus. A new album, “History Books,” was released last fall.
