Chris Pratt's Garfield is heading on an adventure.

A new trailer for The Garfield Movie starring Pratt, 44, as the "Monday-hating, lasagna-loving indoor cat" dropped on Monday. In it, he goes from an abandoned kitten to the comfortable life as a pet.

But, "after an unexpected reunion with his long-lost father — scruffy street cat Vic (voiced by Samuel L. Jackson) — Garfield and his canine friend Odie are forced from their perfectly pampered life into joining Vic in a hilarious, high-stakes heist," per a synopsis.

Directed by Mark Dindal, the film also stars Hannah Waddingham, Ving Rhames, Nicholas Hoult, Cecily Strong, Harvey Guillén, Brett Goldstein and Bowen Yang.

When Pratt was confirmed as the voice of the cartoon cat back in November 2021, the actor wrote on Instagram, "Well this Monday doesn’t suck…."

This past December, Pratt teased the movie on Instagram, sharing a poster for the film and writing in the caption, "He gets bigger. And so does his story. #GarfieldMovie is exclusively in movie theaters this Summer."

Last year, Pratt voiced the lead role in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, an animated video game adaptation that went on to earn over $1 billion at the box office. He also lent his voice to two LEGO Movies and Pixar's Onward.
