Garcelle Beauvais Lit Up an Oscar Party in a Plunging Neon Dress (PICS)

Garcelle Beauvais looks so bright, you might need shades. For Byron Allen’s 5th Annual Oscar Gala benefiting Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member looked incredible in a plunging dress that’s giving us electric limeade.

With long sleeves, pointed shoulders, and a silky sheen, the neon dress had a futuristic vibe. Garcelle paired it with a silver lariat necklace that dipped into her décolletage. She added a little more sparkle with her starburst earrings. Her beauty look kept the shimmer going with a sun-kissed, glossy glow.

The Coming 2 America actress made sure to credit her makeup artist, Julie Jules, on Instagram. She also tagged Maurice Cornell, who created her showstopping hairstyle for the night. And she gave her dates a sweet shout-out in a caption that read, “[Oscars]!!! It’s a family affair.”

Garcelle’s sons Jax and Jaid made dashing companions for her at the benefit. Both boys wore spiffy black suits and sneakers — and they worked the cameras like red-carpet regulars.

Once inside the bash, Garcelle posed for photos with a few famous friends. One shot captured the RHOBH cast member with Holly Robinson Peete, Yvette Nicole Brown, Kym Whitley, and Tisha Campbell.

Garcelle’s Ocsar-night look wasn’t her only bright moment from awards season. For a pre-Oscar breakfast on March 7, the Love Me as I Am author stepped out in a Barbiecore-style hot pink suit.

Garcelle rocked her bold blazer with elegant matching flared trousers. Clear pointed-toe pumps added to the Barbie vibes — and there were plenty of sparkles to boot. Garcelle’s rings, hoop earrings, and designer pins from Chanel, Dior, and Yves Saint Laurent proved that sparkles before noon should be the rule.

This year’s awards season was hardly Garcelle’s first. In 2021, she hosted IMDb’s Before the Awards live show in a glitzy ensemble that deserved its own trophy.

Styled by Tazz Beck, the ’Wife sported a statement-making Tadashi Shoji gown that was covered in dazzling emerald sequins. She turned up the drama with oversize ruffled sleeves and a plunging neckline.

In the clip above, Garcelle confesses that dressing up comes naturally to her. “I dress up most of the time because that’s how I was brought up. It’s almost a cultural thing being from Haiti,” she says. “But when I’m just being a mom and going to games and doing mom stuff, I’m not that dressed up.”

It seems there’s one exception to that rule: When “mom stuff” involves bringing her boys to an Oscar party, Garcelle gets very dressed up indeed.
