UND 1, Alaska 0 — Riese Gaber 11 5:17 (pp). UND converts on a five-minute major to Alaska defenseman Arvils Bergmanis. The Fighting Hawks set up a play for Hunter Johannes between the dots. His shot is blocked in front, Alaska defenseman Caleb MacDonald attempts to clear it from the top of the crease, but Gaber intercepts the pass and rips his 11th goal of the season past goalie Pierce Charleson.

UND 2, Alaska 0 — Hunter Johannes 8 (Riese Gaber, Owen McLaughlin) 11:47. McLaughlin has the puck along the left wall and makes a terrific pass to lead Gaber into space. Gaber skates it to the middle of the rink and snaps a shot that hits Johannes on the leg and gets past Charleson.

UND 2, Alaska 1 — Payton Matsui 4 (Arvils Bergmanis) 15:51 (dp). UND gets caught on a long shift and Alaska gets behind the Fighting Hawks defense. Bergmanis feeds Matsui, who is hooked by Jackson Blake as he hits the top of the crease. Matsui slips the puck five-hole on UND goalie Hobie Hedquist for the goal. He also draws a power play for the Nanooks.

UND 2, Alaska 2 — Brady Risk 10 (Arvils Bergmanis, Caleb MacDonald) 16:53 (pp). Alaska capitalizes on the ensuing power play and ties it up. Bergmanis has the puck in the right circle and makes a cross-ice seam pass to Risk in the left circle. Risk hammers a one-timer past Hedquist for his 10th goal of the season.
