‘Game of Thrones’ Star Lena Headey Resurrects Richard III in Kasabian’s ‘III Ray (The King)’ Video: Watch

When she’s not busy plotting to kill just about everyone in sight as Cersei Lannister on Game of Thrones, Lena Headey still likes to frolic with dead kings in her spare time. At least she does in the trippy new video for Kasabian‘s “III Ray (The King),” in which the actress performs some black magic to resurrect the Lord Protector.

Wearing jeans and a colorful windbreaker, Headey dances, throws magic dust, lights black candles and thrusts her hips in the air in an attempt to raise the dead in an allusion to the time in 2012 when the Leicester city council exhumed the last king from the House of York’s skeleton in a Leicester parking lot. Rather than finding a new resting place for him, though, Headey decides to take the monarch to a shopping mall and a pub for a few pints in the city center in the video for the single from the band’s sixth album, For Crying Out Loud.

The unlikely couple end up in the countryside where they drunkenly dance at a royal rave for two in a field, complete with glowing necklaces and a paper crown, before heading back to the pub for more pints and a messy meal. As usual with all things Cersei, it doesn’t end well for the king.
