‘Game of Thrones,’ ‘Moana,’ Kendrick Lamar Top Google Play’s Best of 2017 Lists
The end of the 2017 is near.
And as December kicks off on Friday, so do the beginning of year end lists.
Google Play is one of the first companies to release its list celebrating the past 12 months, with strong female characters dominating many of the top picks.

“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” “Wonder Woman,” “Game of Thrones” and even Disney’s “Moana” all celebrated strong women — and all cracked the top five in their respective categories.
Outlandish animated series “Rick and Morty” thrashed the zombies of “The Walking Dead” in the top TV show rankings.
While on the music side, there was nothing “Humble” about Kendrick Lamar beating out Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” as Google Play’s most streamed song of 2017.
