The Game Opens Up About Letting Teen Daughter Cali Pick Her Own Halloween Costume: 'She Kept It Cute'

The rapper is learning to let his teen make more choices on her own despite being a protective dad

Celebrating Halloween on Tuesday, the rapper, 43, shared photos of daughter California "Cali" Dream, 13, posing in a costume she picked out on her own — dressed in a Fashion Nova Dallas Cowboys costume and pairing it with a bedazzled football-shaped purse.
"Happy Halloween or whatever… I don’t know what I did, but the good lord is really paying me back through my only daughter…. I love this girl with all my heart. She is my world…. And as tall, beautiful & as smart as she is…. I miss my little baby who had a lisp & couldn’t dance to save her life lmaooo," he began his caption.
"She makes straight A’s.. heavy on the straight…. So this is the 1st Halloween I allowed her to pick her own costume & she went straight to @fashionnova with her moms card with no hesitation lol," the proud dad continued. "She kept it cute but I still low key wanna fight somebody… I just don’t know who 🤔[And someone tell her we are a 49ers household]."
He concluded, "To all the fathers with beautiful daughters… I feel your pain 😩."

Along with Cali, The Game (born Jayceon Terrell Taylor) is also dad to King Justice, 16, both of whom he shares with ex Tiffney Cambridge. The Game is also dad to son Harlem Caron, 20, with ex Aleska Jordan.
After Cali gained attention for her outfit at the Combs' twins Sweet 16 in December, the dad came to his little girl's defense, writing, "DISCLAIMER: Before the internet get to INTERNET'n, me & her mother both agreed to let her do her make up for the young & beautiful @the_combs_twins sweet 16 birthday party," he wrote, referring to ex Cambridge.
Cali attended the event with her mom, posing for photos that appear on both mother and daughter's Instagram accounts. The rapper later addressed criticism of Cali's outfit in a post on The Shade Room's Instagram account.
"I'm gonna say this once so people who aren't her parents get it. My daughter is 12 & both of her parents are more than strict. Tiffney is a school teacher with a master's degree & 2 other degrees who is an amazing parent & is very capable of raising our daughter to be great even if I wasn't in the picture," he wrote in a lengthy reply.
"But I am in the picture so… Tiffney called me & asked me would it be okay for my daughter to wear the dress in the photo to the twins' party… after talking to her thoroughly for over an hour about it, I agreed to let my daughter rock.. being that she wears a school uniform 5 days a week," he continued.
In January, The Game shared a photo daughter of Cali with Sean "Diddy" Combs' twin daughters, D'Lila Star and Jessie James.
"Our girls have become beautiful young girls….. we need to have a family meeting ASAP !!!!!! I'm not playing bout em' in no way shape or form !" he wrote in an Instagram caption.
The rapper, added, "I need more kids, calls Nick for advice lol…." referring to father of 12 Nick Cannon.
