The 'Game of Thrones' Cast Explains the Show in 30 Seconds in New Video

Impatiently awaiting the April 12 return of Game of Thrones? Here’s a fun game you can play at home on Sunday nights until the blockbuster HBO series flickers back to life. Try summarizing all four seasons of the show in a mere 30 seconds. Sounds like a snap? Tell that to the cast, because they sure struggle to pull it off for Entertainment Weekly in this new video.

EW cornered four of the show’s stars — Maisie Williams, Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington, and Emilia Clarke — and got them to offer up their synopses of the show. Not surprisingly, Dinklage went for sarcasm (“Tyrion is a science chemistry teacher at a high school”), while Williams kept it simple (“Death, death, death, revenge”) and Harington devoted a few precious seconds to explaining his character’s perpetually glum expression (“Jon Snow gets progressively more upset”). But Clarke provided the most succinct response, saying “Daenerys wins!” while flashing a thumbs-up sign. Wait… does that count as a spoiler?

Season 5 of Game of Thrones premieres April 12 at 9 p.m. on HBO.
