As one of the presenters for the 2021 Golden Globes on February 28, Gal Gadot chose a Tiffany & Co. Blue Book necklace that is a jewelry insider's wink to her role as Diana Prince in Wonder Woman 1984. In the film, Prince wears the Bone Cuff created in 1970 by Elsa Peretti. Last year, to celebrate its anniversary, Tiffany & Co. reissued the designer’s most coveted originals, including the Bone Cuff for the first time in nearly 20 years.

At the Golden Globes, Gadot wore a minimalist, but stunning, 48-carat zoisite pendant necklace set in 18 carat gold and nearly 1,000 diamonds from the jewelry house's 2021 Blue Book collection. Zoisites are colorful gems—the most popular is the blue tanzanite—but this one is bicolor, which is much rarer. The Blue Book highlights Tiffany & Co.'s extraordinary high jewelry pieces each year. The tradition started in 1845, when the house began publishing an annual compendium of its most prized pieces as a mail-order catalogue. Over the years, it evolved into keepsake publications showcasing jewels not just as sparkly items for adornment but as decorative works of art. Incredibly rare stones are used in these collections, like the zoisite and the Melo Melo pearl.

In keeping with the spirit of the Blue Book jewels, Gadot kept the rest of her look simple with a swingy white trapeze dress and strappy heels so that the necklace could shine. After all, when jewelry is your superpower, the rest can be discreet.
