Gabrielle Union andDwayne Wade jetted off to Maui to celebrate the holidays with their daughter Kaavia and Wade's son Zion, spending Christmas on the beach (and occasionally in matching pajamas). As the behind the scenes investigation of Union's controversial firing from America's Got Talent, Wade and Union have been a united front determined to keep their family strong despite outside troubles.
Union has been posting a ton of delightful pictures of their vacation on Instagram, and it's definitely enough to earn a hefty does of travel envy.
A Stunning Selfie
One picture was a makeup free selfie, proving that the 47-year-old actress hasn't aged a day since Bring It On. Captioned "Before caffeine. Just me 🖤," fans and celebrities alike showered deserved praise on Union.
Actress Jamie Chung commented: "You before caffeine = goddess. Me before caffeine = the zombie from TWD that killed Lori."
Singer SZA commented: "Can you come heeeree like on ur way home on a big fancy jet er sumn. I need to witness this glow."

Continuing To Thrive
If anyone deserves a rest for the holidays, it's Union. She recently spoke at the Power of Inclusivity and the Women Leading the Charge, where she encouraged the crowd to continue to stand up to The Man. She never mentioned NBC by name, choosing class.
"Don’t be the happy negro that does the bidding of the status quo because you’re afraid. Don’t allow them to call you angry when someone else is called passionate. It’s terrifying. There’s a solid chance you’ll lose your job … I speak from experience."
"Do your best because corporations want global dollars. Do your best to try to hold the door open and hold people responsible. Yeah, I’m asking you to do the impossible … I’m fully aware that job loss is on the table … but if you’re not doing it, nobody is. How many checks do I need? In an Instagram story on December 31st, Union expressed her wishes for 2020 while dancing on the beach in a bikini.
"Preparing to do my vision board for 2020 like… So excited to set my intentions and manifest my dreams. And remember 'A word paints a 1000 pictures, so be careful what you say.' On this note, be kind to yourself and be mindful of what negative energy you put out in the world."
Something tells me that Union is going to absolutely crush 2020, and there is no one more deserving.
