Gabrielle Union’s Daughter Kaavia Channels Her Inner Beyoncé in an Adorable New Video

Just call her Shady Bey-by (alter-ego: Shady Fierce) because Gabrielle Union’s 5-year-old daughter Kaavia is channeling her inner Beyoncé — and she’s already a little superstar. Kaavia shared a new video on her Instagram account, run by her parents Union and Dwyane Wade, and she’s giving the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer a run for her money.

“You love it?” Union asks off-camera, as Kaavia whispers a “Yeah.” She is wearing a curly blonde wig with a sparkly yellow princess dress, complete with a tulle skirt. She gives her mom a “peace” sign with her fingers, tilting her head and oozing coolness.

Kaavia whisper-sings “you won’t break my soul” as Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul” plays in the background, looking adorable. Then in her full voice: “Hey guys, do I kind of look like I have real Beyoncé hair?” She adds, “It’s just a wig!”

As she moves her head back and forth to make the wig hair flow, the Bring It On alum reminds her daughter, “Your hair is beautiful.”

Leaning forward, she responds, “My name is Kaavia.” And don’t you forget it! Kaavia shares that she’s “trying to dress up like Beyoncé when she has her fancy stuff.” She then admires herself in the mirror before blowing a kiss to her mom and saying, “See ya!”

“I’m just saying have you ever seen me & @beyonce in the same room? 👀” she captioned the post. They are both beautiful Black women, they both go by their first names, and they both have the voice of an angel. Maybe they are the same person?! Just stick a cowboy hat on Kaav and you wouldn’t be able to tell the two superstars apart.

Everyone loved Kaavia’s confidence. “Let’s be clear I’m just dressing up like Beyonce, BUT my name is KAAVIA!!! 😍😍” one person commented.

“The lil shoulder shimmy is killing me! You’re really growing up on us! ❤️” another person wrote. “Omg baby Beyhive I can’t 🐝😍,” someone else said.

Beyoncé’s real-life cousin Angie Beyincé even loved it. “😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍,” she commented.

In September, Kaavia joined her parents and her 16-year-old sister Zaya at Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

“Style is generational 😉” The Perfect Find star wrote on Instagram. She shared an adorable picture of her dressed in light-wash jeans with back-of-the-knee cutouts and a metal halter top. Zaya wears a formfitting blue top and shorts with knee-high metallic boots, and Kaavia steals the show in a light-up tulle skirt with a glitter sleeveless tanktop that said “Dance” and a pink strand in her hair. She paired it with black boots.

After seeing the Grammy-winner perform live, it’s no wonder Kaavia wants to be just like Beyoncé!
