Rapper G-Eazy is the guest on the newest installment of the Lipps Service podcast, speaking with host Scott Lipps about his return to music-making after a yearlong hiatus in Paris, his breakthrough collaborations with Bebe Rexha, A$AP Rocky, and Cardi B, and securing his first record deal with RCA.

He also discusses the early success of his “Runaround Sue” remix, posing as his own manager to book gigs in the early days, the merits of walking around New York, and his side interest in photography.

More from Spin:

On the previous episode of Lipps Service, Lipps was joined by actor and music lover Norman Reedus to discuss his encounters with hardcore Walking Dead fans, his friendships with Keanu Reeves and Johnny Knoxville, and how the work he produces for his own Big Bald Gallery has been inspired by artist/musicians such as Laurie Anderson

Since it began in 2018, the acclaimed podcast has featured many of the biggest voices and personalities in music, including exclusive interviews with Red Hot Chili Peppers singer Anthony Kiedis, David Lee Roth, Shepard Fairey, Courtney Love, Dove Cameron, Mick Fleetwood, Nikki Sixx, Perry Farrell, and many more. Every few weeks, a new episode of SPIN Presents Lipps Service is available wherever you listen to podcasts.
