FXX Cancels ‘Man Seeking Woman’ After Three Seasons

“Man Seeking Woman” has been canceled after three seasons, TheWrap has learned.

FXX has decided not to renew the Jay Baruchel-led comedy for a fourth season a month after the conclusion of the show’s low-rated third season. Including seven days of delayed viewing, Season 3 of “Man Seeking Woman” averaged just 367,000 total viewers per week.

The sitcom follows Josh Greenberg (Baruchel) as he soldiers through the life-and-death stakes of dating. The series also stars Eric Andre (“The Eric Andre Show”) as Mike, Josh’s confident and daring best friend; and Britt Lower (“Sisters”) as Liz, Josh’s intimidating older sister.

The critically acclaimed third season also introduced “How to Get Away With Murder” alum Katie Findlay as Baruchel’s fiancee.

“Man Seeking Woman” is based on executive producer Rich’s book of short stories, “The Last Girlfriend on Earth.” Jonathan Krisel, Andrew Singer, Ian Maxtone-Graham and Lorne Michaels are also executive producers. The series hails from Broadway Video and is produced by FX Productions.
