Funtastic Dance Follies' 79th season underway featuring local dancers

Apr. 26—BEMIDJI — Bemidji State dance clubs, alumni and community groups took the stage at the BSU Gymnasium on Thursday to kick off the 79th season of Funtastic Dance Follies.

The annual event highlights routines from BSU groups including the dance team, swing club and ballroom club, as well as alumni. Thursday's show also featured Fusion Center dancers.

Additional shows will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 26, and Saturday, April 27, at the BSU Gymnasium. There will also be a matinee show at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Tickets for the shows will be available at the door.

Admission is free for children 2 and under, $5 for youth general admission, $10 for adult general admission, free for Bemidji State students and $5 for Bemidji State alumni and senior citizens.
