Big comedians and musical tributes take center stage in Connecticut starting with red-hot comedians Tim Dillon, Matt Rife and Seth Meyers.

This week also features music from the roots rock tribute “Million Dollar Quartet” to a live Taylor Swift sing-along to headbangers Testament; instrumental ensembles from the jammy Selcouth Quartet to the classical JACK quartet; dance from Dance Theatre of Harlem; and Broadway star L. Morgan Lee in concert.

Here are some of the top things to do and see.

Tim Dillon Foxwoods Resort Casino, 350 Trolley Line Blvd., Mashantucket

The stand-up comic has an extremely popular podcast and is a regular on an even more popular one, The Joe Rogan Experience. In the past couple of years, he has had a Netflix special and a role in the slasher flick “Thanksgiving.” In April, he’s releasing his first book, “Death by Boomers.” Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. $56-$116. foxwoods.com.

L. Morgan Lee Legacy Theatre, 128 Thimble Islands Road, Branford

Legacy Theatre has created the best Broadway cabaret series in the state. ‘Million Dollar Quartet’ ACT of Connecticut, 36 Old Quarry Road, Ridgefield

The historical musical “Million Dollar Quartet” caused a welcome resurgence in live recreations of early rock and roll. Dozens of working rock and rollers have played the roles of Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins in the show, then brought these classic tunes back to the clubs. But “Million Dollar Quartet” is about more than the music. Based on a real rock summit among these giants of roots rock, the script is full of heartfelt confessions, bursts of bravado and male bonding. The new production at ACT of CT is directed by Hunter Foster, who has done the show numerous times around the country. Feb. 21 through March 17. Performances are Thursdays at 7 p.m., Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 2 and 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m., with an added Thursday preview performance on Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. $71-$79. actofct.org.

Matt Rife Mohegan Sun Arena, 1 Mohegan Sun Blvd., Uncasville

A year ago, you could’ve seen comedian Matt Rife for a few bucks at the intimate Funny Bone Comedy Club in Manchester. He’s blown up, both in popularity and controversy, since then and is now doing five consecutive shows at Mohegan Sun Arena, Feb. 21-25 at 8 p.m. $81-$349. mohegansun.com.

Selcouth Quartet Infinity Hall, 32 Front St., Hartford

Drummer Joe Russo’s Selcouth Quarth features Stuart Bogie on sax, flute, clarinet and keyboards, Jon Shaw on stand-up and electric bass and Jonathan Goldberger on acoustic and electric guitars. Let’s Sing Taylor Oakdale Theatre, 95 S. Turnpike Road, Wallingford

OK, we all know the Taylor the title of this act refers to, but what’s the “Let’s Sing” part about? It’s a live band performing Swift hits with a lookalike frontwoman while the audience is afforded lots of sing-along opportunities. Feb. 23 at 7:30 p.m. $35-$116. concerts.livenation.com.

JACK Quartet Cummings Arts Center, 270 Mohegan Avenue Parkway, New London

Connecticut is fortunate to have so many progressive, creative, groundbreaking classical ensembles touring through the state so often. On Feb. 23 at 7:30 p.m. at Evans Hall in the Cummings Arts Center at Connecticut College, the JACK Quartet will be playing Christopher Otto’s “Angelorum Psalat, after Rodericus” and “Fumeux par fumee, after Solage” (both ruminations on 14th century composers), Caleb Burhans’ “Contritus,” Nicola Vicentino’s “Madonna il poco dolce and Musica Prisca Caput” (from the 16th century), Amy Williams’ “Tangled Madrigal” and Gabriella Smith’s “Carrot Revolution.” $22, $20 seniors, $11 students. jackquartet.com.

Feb. 24 at 7 and 9:30 p.m. $49-$71. bushnell.org.

Dance Theatre of Harlem Shubert Theatre, 247 College St., New Haven
