The Full-Size Lego 'Friends' Set Used 973,028 Bricks & Featured a Real Monkey
A life-sized interactive version of Central Perk was constructed in Las Vegas with close to 1 million Lego bricks!
The installation was commissioned by Warner Bros. Television to commemorate the ongoing festivities for the 25th anniversary of "Friends."

Lego brick artist Nathan Sawaya spent 4 months building the exhibit at the New York-New York Hotel & Casino, which used 973,028 bricks and featured a full-sized orange couch, cash register and even a menu.
Sawaya is known for constructing amazing Lego exhibits and revealed that the couch was the most difficult part of the 700 sq ft installation.
"That orange couch was one of the toughest things to build because it’s so iconic, everyone knows it ... You just want to get it right, but it’s so many bricks and at some point, it’s mind numbing, Swaya told PEOPLE.
Even though almost 1 million bricks were used, it also featured one non-Lego surprise, Marcel the monkey!
Marcel was Ross' pet white-headed capuchin monkey from Season 1 of the TV series.
Marcel made other appearances in the show and was mentioned later on after he became an actor and starred in "Outbreak 2: The Virus Takes Manhattan."
The Central Perk exhibit was also in honor of Lego unveiling its own version of the famous coffee shop earlier this year.
The 1,070 piece set included all 6 of the stars in mini-figure version and even featured Central Perk's own, Gunther.
