The plot of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End revolves around the eponymous elven mage. Due to the extremely long lifespan of her race, Frieren has little understanding of how others view time. Decades earlier, she was part of the adventuring party that vanquished the Demon King. As her former human companions begin dying due to old age, Frieren decides to embark on a new quest to learn more about humanity.
