French Montana Shows Off His One-of-a-Kind Kanye West Sneakers Worth Over $25,000

Sneakerheads tend to be a fanatic bunch, and this certainly holds true when it comes to a special pair of Kanye West sneakers. Rapper French Montana stopped by The Wendy Williams Show, where the host took notice of Montana’s limited edition Yeezy Boosts, made by fellow rapper Kanye West. Even more ridiculous than the white-on-white sneakers is how much they are potentially worth.

“Well, somebody was trying to buy these from me for like $25,000,” said Montana. “I told them ’naw.’”

Now, $25,000 might sound like a lot for a pair of shoes — because it totally is — but the Air Jordan sneakers worn by Michael Jordan during his famous “flu game” in the 1997 NBA Finals went for over $100,000 at a luxury auction house.

Williams asked Montana what made these shoes so special. “These are the only ones made,” explained Montana, “and he gave them to me as a gift in my last video.”

The video for the song “Figure It Out” featured Kanye with another set of Yeezy Boosts, but the pair on French Montana’s feet is truly one of a kind. “These are 101; they didn’t come out,” said Montana, “and they might not ever come out.”
