If the country can agree on one thing right now, it’s that everyone loves the Mannequin Challenge. The Internet craze in which people strike a pose and hold it, like something you might see in a department store window, has captivated many, including Beyoncé, Garth Brooks, Britney Spears, and Ellen DeGeneres.
The trend might have reached its height when some of the biggest stars in the world performed it at the White House. Tom Hanks, Ellen DeGeneres, Diana Ross, and others all participated in a clip Tracee Ellis Ross shared of the gang attending the annual Presidential Medal of Freedom ceremony.
The newly crowned Sexiest Man Alive, The Rock, tried a special version of the Mannequin Challenge, as a way of celebrating the title.
Taylor Swift and her squad took the craze to the beach.

Britney Spears, with some help from her backup dancers, froze in celebration of being named the Best Resident Performer in the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Best of Las Vegas Awards.
Bey and two former members of Destiny’s Child, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams, made their attempt in a video showing them playing some sort of game.

Paul McCartney got in on the action with a clip that showed him in the way fans are most used to seeing the former Beatle: behind the piano. Noticeably, the soundtrack of the footage is hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles,” a song used in many Mannequin Challenge videos that name-checks both McCartney and his late bandmate John Lennon.
Kate Hudson, Rachel Zoe, and others were part of a group that tried it at a birthday party for kids.
Hailee Steinfeld, Kyra Sedgwick, and other cast members of the new dramedy The Edge of Seventeen joined in on the red carpet at a Hollywood screening of the film. Even photographers got in on the action!
Songstress Adele and her crew created a Western-themed Mannequin Challenge masterpiece. In that one, Johnny Cash’s song “Man in Black” plays in the background as the British star and her peeps stage a scene from a saloon.
Of course, Kevin Hart took the challenge at the gym. Where else would he be other than snapping some selfies while he works out?
Alicia Keys turned her celebrity duty of giving an interview into a chance to take part in the latest Internet craze.
Impressively, Nina Dobrev enlisted the help of more than 150 strangers at a bar to take part in her challenge.
While filming her new movie A Wrinkle in Time, director Ava DuVernay recorded a scene of the cast and crew hard at work. The final shot revealed the movie’s release date: April 6, 2018.
