Alex Honnold is continuing his reign as a girl dad.

The Free Solo climber, 38, and wife Sanni McCandless have welcomed their second baby together, another daughter, a rep for the couple confirms exclusively to PEOPLE.

Daughter Alice Summer Hannold was born on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 9:25 p.m., weighing 6 lbs., 6 oz. and measuring 19 inches long. Alice, who carries Hannold's grandmother's name, was born in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The couple is already parents to daughter June, who celebrates her second birthday on Feb. 17.

"June was born via emergency c-section after a long labor and spent her first week of life in the NICU. We were open to a VBAC for our second child, but had a very low risk tolerance level should the baby show any signs of distress," the couple tells PEOPLE.

"When I got to the hospital there were some complications and my doctor recommended a c-section. We headed straight there and everything went well after that!"

"After a fairly traumatic first birth with June, Alice's birth was a huge relief. We were home 2 days later!" Sanni adds.

The couple found out their exciting baby news while at Sanni's best friend's wedding, making a memorable day that much more so.

"We found out I was pregnant at my best friend's wedding, which I was officiating! It reminded me of the scene from Friends where Rachel keeps spitting out the champagne at Monica's wedding," the new mom of two laughs.

"We had decided we wanted our kids to be close together in age and had been trying for a few months. We were very happy when we got the good news!"

The news came just as Alex headed out for a two-month-long biking trip from Colorado to Alaska, however.

"The summer was a tough time with morning sickness and a rambunctious 1½-year- old. I couldn't have been happier when he got back home!"

The family of four is now settled in at home, with their toddler daughter "transitioning well" to being a big sister.

"I think she has a lot of big feelings going on: excitement, confusion, frustration, curiosity," Sanni says. "She gets very upset anytime the baby cries and talks about her a lot, but also misses being the sole receiver of our attention!"

The Honnold family offers more glimpses into their life in Alex's recently debuted National Geographic series, Arctic Ascent.

"The special features a trip Alex took to Greenland in 2022 when June was 5 months old. It was a very precious time for our family and I remember being nervous that June, being so young, would forget who he was by the time he came home," Shanni shares. "Thankfully, the reunion went well, and so did the trip!"

The couple is looking forward to hitting the road with their two little ones this summer.

"We have a few big trips planned for our new family of four — all with changeable tickets and refundable Airbnbs, just in case! To be honest, I'm not sure if our expectations are too high for what is possible with two kids, but we are going to try our best!"
