Free hams for Father's Day offered by Fulfill food bank in Toms River Friday

TOMS RIVER – Free hams for Father's Day will be given out tomorrow  as part of Toms River's weekly food distribution at the Presbyterian Church, 1070 Hooper Ave.

Fulfill, formerly the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean counties, secured 500 boneless, 3-pound hams for those in need, according to former Councilman Terrance Turnbach, one of the organizers of the township's weekly food giveaway.

Some of the hams were given out today and the rest will be distributed at Friday's distribution at the church, along with fresh vegetables, bread, potatoes and food "crisis boxes" from Fulfill.
