Free Dying Light 2 DLC and Cross-Gen Support Added on First Anniversary
Players can enjoy free Dying Light 2 DLC as part of the game’s ongoing first anniversary celebration. Yesterday, Techland announced that the franchise has shipped 30 million units worldwide, with Dying Light 2: Stay Human continuing to boost sales one year on.

Those who own both Dying Light and Dying Light 2 can grab the Crane bundle, which otherwise costs $2.99. Those who partake in the week-long Bloody Anniversary event (31/01 – 09/02) and Dropkick weekend (09/02 – 13/02) will also be entitled to freebies. Completing the Bloody Anniversary goal will net players contents of the Rais Bundle (worth $2.99), and completing the Dropkick weekend goal will entitle players to the Brecken Bundle (also worth $2.99).
In addition to the above, Techland has rolled out Dying Light 2 update 1.9.0 (community update 2), which adds cross-gen support to both PlayStation and Xbox platforms. We’ve also been given a glimpse of the updated roadmap, which now includes the following:
