Fred Lynn lives out the Red Sox-Yankees rivalry on 'Old Baseball Cards'
A couple things you should know about the great Fred Lynn: He doesn’t care for the New York Yankees or the National League — two facts that become abundantly clear on this week’s fun new episode of “Old Baseball Cards,” Yahoo Sports’ baseball-card driven nostalgia show.
Lynn, the Boston Red Sox great who famously won the MVP and Rookie of the Year in the same season, joined us to open up packs of 1980 and 1987 Topps. One pack had a lot of Yankees and one pack had some Red Sox greats. You can figure out which one he liked best.
