Frank Ocean’s albums Blondeand Endlessare ineligible for Grammy awards this year because they were not submitted for consideration, Billboard reports. The 2017 Grammy eligibility cut-off date was September 30, 2016; Blonde was released August 20, while Endless was released August 12, both before the cut-off date and within the range of eligibility. The exact date of the missed deadline is not public—the Recording Academy “accepts entries online from its members and from registered media companies,” according to the Grammy website. A representative for the Grammys confirmed to Billboard that Ocean’s albums had not been submitted.
