Who says Selena Gomez is feuding with Francia Raísa?

Certainly not Francia, who recently denied having a rift with her longtime friend.

After initially laughing off a question on where she stands with the "Wolves" singer, Francia clarified to TMZ on July 27, "There's no beef, guys."

The How I Met Your Father star's words came a day after her 35th birthday, which Selena marked by sharing a sweet Instagram carousel of her and Francia throughout the years.

"Happiest of birthdays to this special human beings," she wrote to Francia, who donated a kidney to her in 2017. "No matter where life takes us, I love you."

In response, Francia liked the post. She later added to TMZ, without specifically mentioning Selena, "I got so many great birthday messages. I really, really appreciate everyone. Yeah, you know, it's a new year."

Francia also marked her big day by throwing a poolside birthday celebration, where she stunned in an orange string bikini. She captioned images from the event, "If I'm not in a bikini on my birthday then it's not my birthday."

Selena Gomez Through the Years

Rumors of a feud between Selena and Francia arose last November when the Only Murders in the Building actress told Rolling Stone that Taylor Swift is her "only friend in the industry." When E! News shared the quote on Instagram, Francia wrote in a since-deleted comment, "interesting."

A fan then raised speculation about a possible fallout between the friends, prompting Selena to comment on TikTok, "Sorry I didn't mention every person I know." Months later, in May 2023, Francia told TMZ that she was "being bullied" online over the alleged drama, adding, "It's not good at all. It's not fun either."

Amid the circulating rumors, Selena, who was diagnosed with lupus in 2014, gave insight into her bond with the actress in a March episode of Apple TV+'s docuseries Dear….

"I will never ever, ever be more in debt to a person than Francia," she said. "The idea of someone not even second-guessing to be a donor was unbelievably overwhelming."
