The 90s were loaded with many artists and celebrities that people crushed on. Dirk Nowitzki recently revealed that he had his eyes on Foxy Brown and Lil’ Kim, and Brown was very flattered by the admission.

The 2011 NBA Champion appeared on All The Smoke hosted by Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson on Thursday (Nov. 30) where he was asked about his childhood crushes. The Dallas Mavericks legend shared the Brooklyn rappers’ names and the clip found its way to the “Get Me Home” artist.

Brown reposted the clip on Monday (Dec. 4), writing “[Love] u Dirk Haaaaaaaa! [fire emojis] HEAVY ON DAT OREO LIFE!!!!! @swish41 [laughing emojis].” She then offered fans the chance to decide their couple’s name before offering her own idea: “SWISH & SWEETS.” Check out Nowitzki’s All The Smoke interview and Brown’s reaction below.

Foxy Brown recently made headlines for denying ever having a relationship with Jay-Z. “Fake fairytale news!” she wrote in a since-deleted Instagram story. “I understand the void I’ve left in my absence. But the Fox & Hov lies are pathetic at this point! Quitely raising my beautiful girl, preparing for the greatest comeback in music! [fire emojis] Hop off my d**k!”

Brown hasn’t released new music since 2021’s “Settling Down” featuring Josh Harris. In 2014, she shared Compilation, which included “I’ll Be” featuring Hov, “Get Me Home” featuring Blackstreet, “Ill Na Na” featuring Method Man, and eight of her other major records.

She has recently been a topic of conversation with the rise of Lola Brooke, who cites her as a major influence. The fellow Brooklyn artist even paid homage to her muse by flipping “Get Me Home” on her single “You” featuring Bryson Tiller. “Both of them I look up to,” Brooke said of Brown and Lil’ Kim during a March interview with MEFeater. “They walked the same streets I did, literally. There’s no denying their impact; having them both rooting for me means the most to me.”
