Fox News weather reporter Robert Ray got a little more than he bargained for when demonstrating the force of the wind as Hurricane Ida slammed the Gulf Coast. Reporting on Fox Report With Jon Scott from a parking garage in New Orleans Sunday, Ray said gusts were reaching up to 90 miles per hour. He then stepped into the wind and was nearly blown off screen. Ray had to fight his way back, but was being moved even when trying to stand still. He eventually grabbed hold of the entrance to the parking garage and pulled himself in. After the demonstration, Ray recommended that people stay out of the wind.

“Very serious situation here right now,” Ray said. “If anyone is out there they need to get into shelter, cannot stress it enough, as this storm is just battering New Orleans right now.”
