‘Fox & Friends’ guests say Ann Coulter is ‘off her rocker’ and ‘off in fantasy land’

Over the weekend, conservative commentator Ann Coulter eluded to President Trump as “the biggest wimp ever to serve as President of the United States,” and he fired back in an interview with the Wall Street Journal. On Monday’s Fox & Friends they let their guests fire back as well, including former House Speaker Newt Gingrich “He should not pay any attention to Ann Coulter,” Gingrich said. “Ann Coulter’s never run for office, she doesn't know anything about how you put a majority together. She’s off here in some fantasy land where she gets to be noisy which helps her sell books.”

Christian Broadcast Network chief political correspondent David Brody also chimed in on Coulter while discussing why people should trust President Trump when it comes to the border wall. Ann Coulter, and bless her heart as they say in the south, she is an outlier here and quite frankly not representative of the base at all,” Brody said. “An outlier for sure and some of those comments, off her rocker, no doubt about it.” President Trump also criticized Fox News over the weekend, presumably for comments they made about his handling of the border wall negotiations. And after Fox News anchor Julie Banderas defended her colleagues on Twitter, Kilmeade used the Coulter story multiple times throughout the show to send a message to Trump as well. “I do think the president cares way too much about people in the media. He is president. He is not a candidate,” Kilmeade said, later adding: “He has got to almost ignore people whether it's me or you one day, Ann Coulter today, and do what he knows is best.”
