'Fox & Friends' co-host Brian Kilmeade says crowd boos are 'not for Ivanka'

National security adviser John Bolton and senior White House adviser Ivanka Trump faced a cacophony of jeers as they exited 10 Downing Street in London on Tuesday, which prompted an explanation from Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade.

Kilmeade jumped to the defense of the first daughter, telling viewers “that’s not for Ivanka it’s for John Bolton, and he loves it.” He added, “He’s pretty much looked at as the ‘tough guy’ in that administration and he loves that label.”

The two are in London along with President Trump, the first lady and other officials for a state visit to Great Britain.

Ivanka Trump emerged from the U.K. government headquarters, followed by the national security adviser. The crowd started booing almost immediately, making it difficult to make out if the jeers were directed at only one of them or at both.

Viewers on Twitter were surprised that Kilmeade was able to make the distinction:

Others agreed with Kilmeade that the scorn was directed at Bolton:
