Fox Acquires ‘Bob’s Burgers’ Animation Studio Bento Box Entertainment

Fox Entertainment has acquired Bento Box Entertainment, the animation house behind some of its broadcast network’s shows, including “Bob’s Burgers”, the upcoming “Duncanville” and “The Great North.” Founded in 2009 by Scott Greenberg, Joel Kuwahara and Mark McJimsey — with current owners being Greenberg, Kuwahara and Brett Coke — Bento Box will operate as a stand-alone entity under Fox Entertainment and produce content for all platforms. Bento Box’s kids and family investment, Sutikki, and its related assets, are not part of the acquisition. The company’s leadership team will remain in place, including Greenberg (CEO) and Kuwahara (President of Production), as well as senior executives Coker (COO), Ben Jones (Creative Director), Craig Hartin (GM of Bento Box Atlanta), Janelle Momary (Supervising Producer) and Andi Raab (Supervising Producer).
