NEW YORK (PIX11) – Another installment of Movie Nights at Bryant Park returns in June, and this year, they’re starting with a Tom Hanks classic.

“Movie Nights at Bryant Park continues to be a signature event that brings people from all walks of life together to enjoy the magic of the movies in an unmatched setting,” said Dan Biederman, president of Bryant Park Corporation. “We’re once again proud to celebrate this tradition with a lineup of favorites from the rich archives of Paramount+.”

Here are 7 free summer concert series in New York City

This year’s lineup, starting June 10, features a diverse mix of Academy Award winners and blockbuster hits, promising something for everyone.

Movie Nights at Bryant Park schedule:

June

  • “Forrest Gump” – June 10

  • “The Talented Mr. Ripley” – June 17

  • “Boomerang” – June 24

July

  • “Gladiator” – July 1

  • “Old School” – July 8

  • “Funny Face” – July 15

  • “Cinema Paradiso” – July 22

  • “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” – July 29

August

  • “Arrival” – Aug. 5

  • “Titanic” – Aug. 12

The lawn at Bryant Park opens at 5 p.m., so New Yorkers and visitors can enjoy various local food and drinks curated by Hester Street Fair. Movies start promptly at 8 p.m.

Chairs and animals are not permitted on the lawn, according to the Movie Nights website.
