Former Texas-San Antonio, LSU QB Lowell Narcisse announces transfer to Nicholls

Lowell Narcisse is transferring home to continue his college football career.

Narcisse announced his transfer to Nicholls on Twitter on Friday.

Narcisse, a Vacherie native, is a former St. James High School four-star quarterback who spent the past two seasons at Texas-San Antonio.

The 6-foot-2, 225-pound dual threat quarterback signed with LSU out of high school in 2016, but he had limited playing time for the Tigers, which led to him transferring to Texas-San Antonio in 2018.

Narcisse didn’t see action for Texas-San Antonio in the 2021 season. He played in four games during the 2020 season before suffering a season-ending ankle injury during a game against Army. He spent most of 2021 rehabbing the injury.

Narcisse finished with 417 passing yards and three touchdowns to go with 126 rushing yards on 32 carries in four games in 2020. He is expected to be in the mix for the starting quarterback job at Nicholls in the 2022 season.
