Sanna Marin is going from the House of Parliament to the Soho House, as the former Prime Minister of Finland has signed with talent management firm Range Media Partners.

Marin sparked global media interest in 2019 when her election to Finland’s highest office made her the youngest prime minister in history at age 34. Range will help the politician explore opportunities in media and entertainment including TV, film, audio and brand partnerships.

Marin held office through Sept. 1, when she stepped down as party leader. Prior to serving as PM, she’d been active in parliament since 2015. Praised as a progressive leader, Marin’s tenure was marked by the coronavirus pandemic, her condemnation of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and her commitment to carbon neutrality.

In April, HBO Max announced its first Finnish original program “First Five,” described as a portrait of Marin and the trailblazing female cabinet she formed during her time in office.

Marin has been honored with the Grand Cross of the Order of the White Rose of Finland, and was awarded a Doctor of Humane Letters, honoris causa at New York University. She has appeared on prestigious lists including the Financial Times’ “25 most Influential Women,” a “30 For 30 Impact Leader” by Equality Now, Time’s “Time100 Next” of the world’s most influential leaders and Forbes’ “The World’s 100 Most Powerful Women.”

In early September, Marin announced her plans to join the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. The London-based nonprofit organization is led by the former British Prime Minister Blair, and Marin will strategically advise countries, governments and leaders on policy issues like technology, climate and gender equality. Marin is also represented by the Harry Walker Agency.
